With the last Telethon Home being built back in 2019, this year’s charity home is back with a clean design to make up for lost time.
Home Group have generously agreed to design and donate the completed home, while Satterley has donated the land to ensure all proceeds of the home go directly to Telethon.
Enjoy an idyllic beachside lifestyle
The Telethon Home built by Home Group will be located in one of Satterley’s newest coastal communities, Seaside at Madora Bay.
The Seaside Estate is less than an hour from Perth and just 7km from the heart of Mandurah.
It is surrounded by schools, including the Madora Bay Primary School set to open in 2023, parks and sporting facilities and within walking distance of Lakelands Shopping Centre.
The kitchen will be a key feature
The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home has been carefully designed to balance an array of aesthetically-pleasing features and open plan living, while making the most of the 500sqm block.
The central kitchen will be the heart of this home, including a huge island bench with waterfall ends and double wall ovens.
With plenty of storage it will make cooking in this home an absolute dream.
To finish off the home, the front elevation has a feature corner window and textured stone piers that are complimented by timber cladding detail to the gables.
The combination of these elements provides the home with great street appeal and character.
“Home Group and the Silvestro Family have been proud supporters of Telethon for many years,” Home Group Managing Director Anthony Silvestro said.
“Now having the opportunity to contribute further to support children and families in need is an honour.”
Construction of the home has already commenced. The concrete pad is down with the build estimated to be complete in late August.
This year the home will be selling by End Date Sale date with open home opportunities in September.
Satterley have donated land for over 40 charity home auctions and were more than willing to help the Telethon cause once again.
“The uplifting personal stories that Telethon recognises and celebrates of those who show resilience and courage, and the support of their families and carers, represent the very best of our community, ” Satterley Chief Executive Nigel Satterley said.
“Creating thriving, happy communities is at the heart of what we do and being able to give back to the community in this way is incredibly rewarding.”
Supporting WA children and families in need
Over the years, the Telethon home project has been central to the annual fundraiser and contributed over $26 million to Telethon.
Thanks to Home Group and Satterley, the proceeds from the sale will help raise vital funds for young children living with health challenges and disabilities in Western Australia.
