It’s more than just a carnival, it’s the Bendigo Bank Kids Carnival for Telethon! The Bendigo Bank Kids Carnival will be open over the Telethon Weekend on October 21 and 22 from 10am – 5pm at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Visit any Bendigo Bank branch before the weekend to purchase pre-sale tickets for $5 per person for express entry into the carnival. You can also purchase tickets at the door for $10 per person. Once inside ALL RIDES ARE FREE! Make sure you bring the family and join in the fun!
The 2017 Bendigo Bank Kids Carnival for Telethon is an entertaining and interactive carnival raising money for Telethon, giving families an affordable option for a fun weekend! The money raised enables over 40 children’s organisations the chance to improve their medical equipment and services making life better for our children throughout the community.
The event is packed with children’s rides, face painting and live stage shows as well as sessions with WA’s favourite sporting teams. West Coast Eagles will be showing the kids how to handball with ease like Shuey and hop, step and jump for goal like JK Sunday from 10 til 5 and Perth Wildcats will slam dunk on the basketball court.
Fat Cat and Friends will pop by to say hello and take you on an adventure and The Kids Coach will get the kids exercising. You’ll also get the chance to see Captain Starlight, Dinosaur Box as well as a special appearance from The Sisters from Arendelle
For the animal lovers get ‘up close and personal’ with lots of friendly farmyard animals in the Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm or have a totally wild encounter with koalas and pythons and more with West Oz Wildlife.
Join the ‘technology extravaganza’ with ScopeIT Education in the Tech Tent who will be showcasing their technology and having hands-on demonstrations of Coding, 3D Printing and electronics. You might win a prize too!
For those little dare devils, take the Ninja Challenge on the inflatable obstacle course or jump on some of Perth’s biggest and best carnival rides, Mini Twister, Cup & Saucer, Taxi Jets, Merry Go Round and Rockin’ Tug! Climb and slide your way around Spider Mountain or climb on board the double decker bus for some soft play in the Funpad.
The Freedom Fairies will be there to paint your face and why walk when you can join in on some Pony Fun and hop on a ride-around toy pony.
In his 8th year of fundraising for Telethon 11 year old Scott will be completing a 50km Treadmill Challenge in celebration of the 50th Telethon and with the hope of raising $50,000. You can visit Scott to cheer him on, add your stick person to his art board, give a donation or buy a copy of his book ‘Did You Know, You Can Change the World?’
Make sure you also come and say g’day at the 7 Perth Live Studio, where you can have a go at your dream job reading 7 News, have your photo taken at Summer Bay and take part in our handball competition to win yourself a prize.
