This June, Officeworks is hosting its annual Make A Difference Appeal to raise money for local causes across the country.
The focus for this year is children’s health and education charities.
Telethon is one of the 14 local community organisations that Officeworks, together with its customers, will be supporting.
Officeworks store teams selected the organisations they wanted to help based on what felt most relevant to their local communities.
Funds raised through this appeal will enable Telethon to continue their mission of supporting our most vulnerable children and to ensure they get the services they need.
Telethon supports 97 charity organisations that provide equipment, undertake medical research into childhood diseases and run programs for children with disabilities or disadvantage in the WA community.
“Our annual Officeworks Make A Difference Appeal aims to support local causes and organisations close to our hearts by providing them with the resources they need to continue their important work in our local communities where we live and work. Together with our customers this June, our fundraising efforts and making a small donation at the check-out will help make bigger things happen for Australian children and make a positive difference to our communities, right across the nation,” Sarah Hunter, Officeworks Managing Director said.
For the month of June, customers across Western Australia will be encouraged to round up the cost of their Officeworks purchase to the nearest dollar at the check-out in store or online.
