WHEN ARE TICKETS ON SALE?

Tickets to the Telethon Opening and Closing live shows are available from Tuesday 10th September.

WHAT TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE?

Tickets are available for the Telethon Opening and Closing live shows at RAC Arena.

Opening Show details:

Box Office: 5:00pm
Doors Open: 5:45pm
Event Start: 6:45pm

Closing Show details:

Box Office: 5:00pm
Doors Open: 6:00pm
Event Start: 7:00pm

HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?

All patrons (aged 2 and above) tickets to both live shows are $30 inc GST.

Children under the age of 2 are free and must sit on guardians lap.

IS THERE A TICKET LIMIT?

There is a limit of 10 tickets per person/booking

WHAT ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY TICKETS?

There are limited Wheelchair (and Carer) seats available for both shows. Tickets will need to be collected in person from the box office, as you will be required to site the Carer’s pass before issuing them.

Complete the Accessible Seating Form and Ticketek will contact you to process your booking.

A priority lane will be open for those in wheelchairs or with mobility access to easily enter the venue.

TICKET COLLECTION IN-PERSON

Venue / Pre-Paid Collection tickets can be picked up from the RAC Arena box office, open from two hours before each event starts. Otherwise, skip the queues and pick up your tickets from a Ticketek pre-paid Collection agency, find them hereYou’ll need the ID matching the Ticketek account to collect the tickets.

CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?

Yes, as long as you retain your ticket and show that again upon entry to RAC Arena.

WHAT IF I MISS OUT ON TICKETS TO THE OPENING AND CLOSING SHOWS?

If you miss out on tickets to the Opening and Closing Shows, you can still experience the event live at other times during the 26-hour broadcast.

General public can enter RAC Arena at any time during the live broadcast for a small donation; excluding the Opening and Closing Show set times as listed above.

VENUE INFORMATION

ARE THERE BAG RESTRICTIONS FOR THE VENUE?

Please note that any bag larger than A4 size (including handbags/child and baby bags) are strictly not permitted in RAC Arena. Please consider the size of all bags and bring anything you need during the event in small bags of A4 size and under.

WHAT GATE CAN I ENTER THROUGH?

Entry is through Main Entrance (Entry A).

WILL MY BAG BE CHECKED?

Yes, security checks will be carried out on bags.

ARE CLOAKING FACILITIES AVAILABLE?

Yes, cloaking facilities are available outside RAC Arena.

WILL PRAMS BE PERMITTED INTO THE VENUE?

No. For the safety of patrons during the course of the event, strollers, baby carries and prams will not be permitted entry into RAC Arena. Patrons will be directed to the cloakroom to have these items cloaked.

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE?

Yes, food and beverage facilities will be available within RAC Arena during the opening show and Sunday from 10:00am. Please note, all vendors inside the arena will be closed from 10:00pm until 10:00am Sunday, October 20.

WILL I BE ABLE TO BRING MY OWN FOOD AND BEVERAGE INSIDE RAC ARENA?

No external/commercial food or drink can be brought into RAC Arena. However, patrons are permitted to enter with a limit of one (1) sealed 600mL PET bottle of water, per person, except when there is a ‘Full Decent’ policy in place for any given event.

FIRST AID AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

Medical crews will be present inside RAC Arena to attend to any problems, no matter how big or small. Please see RAC Arena staff for assistance.

IS THE VENUE A SMOKE FREE VENUE?

Yes. RAC Arena is a 100% smoke free. Patrons are required to leave the site to smoke.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Pets or animals, other then certified service animals are prohibited from entering RAC Arena.

TRANSPORT & PARKING

IS PUBLIC TRANSPORT OPERATIONAL?

We are pleased to advise that all Transperth services will be provided free for users on Sunday 20 October.  RAC Arena is easily accessible by public transport and conveniently located just a short stroll from both the Perth Train Station and the Perth Underground Station.

If you have purchased a ticket to the Opening or Closing Show via Ticketek, travel via public transport is included in your event ticket and is valid on all Transperth services. Please show your event ticket when using Transperth services to gain access.

If you catch the train we suggest you alight at Perth Station or Perth Underground, then walk to the venue (5-7 mins).

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

Free Night-Time Parking – City of Perth CPP Car Parks

All Perth CPP car parks are currently offering free night-time parking from 6pm to 5.59am. When entering the CPP car park, obtain a ticket from the parking machines and insert the ticket at the pay station before driving out of the carpark to validate it.

3-Hour Free Parking Options – selected CPP Car Parks
The below three CPP Car Parks offer 3-hours free parking on weekends. These car parks will automatically include three free hours and charge the applicable rate for any additional hours:

The RAC Arena carpark will be closed for the duration of the Telethon Weekend, until 11.59pm Sunday 20 October.

ROAD CLOSURES

To facilitate the safe running of the Telethon Family Festival, the following road closures will be in place from 12.00am to 11.30pm on Sunday, October 22:

  • To facilitate the safe running of the Telethon Family Festival, the following road closures will be in place from 12.00am to 11.30pm:
    • Wellington Street, between Elder Street and William Street
    • Milligan Street north (between Wellington St and Bus Ramp)
    • Telethon Ave
    • Intersections of Wellington Street with the following roads:
    • Milligan Street
    • Shafto Lane
    • Prince Lane
    • King Street
    • Wellington Street westbound, between William Street and Queen Street will remain open to allow vehicles to utilize the carparks at Raine Square and in Queen Street.
    • There will be no access to Wellington Street during the road closure period.
    • Residents along Wellington Street will be unable to drive their vehicles during the road closure period. We recommend residents along Wellington Street to consider activities without the use of motor vehicles to avoid disruptions or to move your vehicles on Saturday evening prior to closures.
    • Impact to local residents and businesses on surrounding streets will be minimised and access to properties will be maintained wherever possible.
    • Event specific deliveries will be made to the event site during the road closure period.

Traffic is likely to be very heavy around the area, so if driving to the Closing Show, please allow extra time to find parking and make your way to the venue.

TOWING

To maintain public safety within the event space, vehicle towing will occur in the road closure areas from 12.00am on Sunday 22 October 2023. Please ensure you read signage in the area.
